As the playoff battles continue to heat up, the season is also nearing its end. The All-Star Activities will help acknowledge the participants in the League for all of their great playing, sportmanship, effort, work and accomplishments.
Since our playoff schedule will only include 2 games per night, All-Star Activities will fill in the time-slot that is left open. Scheduling will vary. All-star activities may be scheduled in the Game 1, 2, or 3 time-slot. Please check this blog regularly to keep updated on schedule.
In order to participate in All-Star Activities, you must fill out an All-Star Ballot. Ballots must be turned in by Sunday, Jan 16. Ballots not turned in by then will not be counted.
JV and V ballots are included below. If you click on the images, they will enlarge. Feel free to print and fill them out. Blank ballots will be taken to basketball this week, you may fill them out and turn them in there. Also, we will be sending out an email with the ballots included in an Excel spreadsheet. You may fill out the spreadsheet and email them to Brett, Garrett or myself. If you do not recieve the ballot via email, send me an email at jcsowen@live.com and I will send you the ballot. If you have an questions, don't hesitate to text or call me or Garrett. Thanks and Good Luck with the Voting!
Whats the rim height on the dunk contest?
ReplyDeleteWe will be using the rim that we used last time. Its the rim nearest the entrance on the northeast corner of the gym and I believe it can be raised and lowered.
ReplyDeleteI think last time we put it somwhere between 8 and 8.5 feet.... anyone who has a better memory of the details can correct me on that..... but it will be high enough that it takes some level of skill and hops to dunk.. No matter how high we put it, Austin, you'll prolly be able to dunk it just standin' there. :)
What time is the V & JV Dunk Contest on 1/19/11?
